We find the derivatives of science acceptable because the subject of research is well defined and has a specific state that can be expressed and described by some means either as a symbol or as an axiom or a mathematical statement.

To put it in plain words, let's take gravity for instance, the whole concept of applying calculus, finding the value of gravitational constant and making a theory out of it, relies on a basic premise which is a very simple, finite, well defined observation that anything thrown into the air falls down. There is no ambiguity at the point where the formulated theory had started. Usually, evolution of any scientific theory starts with a simple observation. Intuition follows observation. Thought process follows intuition. Thereby Research and Experiments follow thought process, which when found successful, we agree to, sing praise and clap hands. Our mind is attuned to comply with science only because it thrives on a simple concept that finite scope of input yields an acceptable output whose scope is also finite.

On the other hand, Religions & Spirituality contemplate on infinity (god). They too arrive at a result in accordance with their thought process adapted but surprisingly, even the results here are found to be finite which is usually not acceptable to the human mind. Because the mind expects a concrete output from a formulated theory. I say, How can there ever be so concrete an output to so ambiguous an input like infinity or god in this context. Also, One must observe that the thought process in formulating theories, both in spirituality and science are the same.

Just like a scientist who fathoms over an object drawn to the ground, a messiah or a guru contemplates on god, experiences the phenomena and arrives at a result claiming that god works in so and so ways, god should not be worshiped in idols, etc. Likewise, let's say an other guru or spiritual head of an other religion contemplates on this infinity, experiences the phenomena and arrives at a result claiming that one god is behind the whole pantheon of multiple gods, hence deities and idol worship also are acceptable by god.

Aren't these two derivations about god contradictory? This contradiction would alone suffice for a normal human mind to trash religion or spirituality completely, because the start point of the formulated theory is a state of infinity, which is an ambiguous state to begin with. It cannot be described or put on paper as axioms or mathematical symbols and statements. It is a state that circumscribes all plausible finite states. Such dubious a requirement can never be explained by mere words or statements. Even if expressed in words, a unanimous theory can never be formulated to understand such complex a phenomena. To ask for science to prove the existence of god is as impossible as demanding a system to accept a dubious input and arrive at only one single output always.

This theology and thought process of contemplating god should probably be called as supra-science rather than being called spirituality. This supra-science is the BAAP of all sciences. It is not lame. It is not dumb. It is extraterrestrial. It is out of the box. If you find it dumb, it is just because your puny frigging brain fails to meet the genius behind it.

Science is brilliant no doubt about that, but when compared to spirituality, it is as frivolous as a table fan next to a tornado. For it is rightly said,

Where science ends, spirituality begins!

God is also Evil

Someone on twitter posted: "If asked nicely, god doesn't give a car. So it's better to steal a car and then ask for his forgiveness".

This is what happens when god is seen as a embodiment of love and forgiveness alone. He will be regarded as a meek supernatural entity who has no choice to act except for to forgive.

Atheists argue, if god exists why do disasters occur? Why bad prevails in the world? A theist would reply, "God works in mysterious ways", which is sad and also lame to an extent.

Most religions of the world claim that god is all good. Sanatana Dharma affirms that god is also evil, meaning, the evil potencies also reside within the Lord. It is god who resurrects good by slaying evil karma of people in the form of disasters like Tsunamis and earthquakes.Both ghora and aghora forms reside within one Lord only.If you die in an earthquake, you die because of your karma. If you are surprisingly saved from a disaster, you are saved because of your karma. The concept is as simple as that. It is not completely correct to not believe in god just because evil prevails in the world. Likewise it is not completely correct to believe in god thinking that he only possesses good qualities and is only capable of acts like forgiveness.

Omnipotency doesn't just mean the possession of only good qualities. It also includes evil and bad potencies within it. God cannot be circumscribed by boundaries of duality like good and evil. He is formless without qualities. Even not having any quality is also a quality. So it is impossible to attempt and describe the state of god with mere words.

It is that omnipotent, omniscient, all pervading resolve that preaches a theist to accept the existence of god and it is the same resolve that preaches an atheist to reject its existence. Life is a divine sport, we are all merely players in it. To rise and exalt to the state of being god, one has to rise above petty arguments about god, turn the mind inwards and realize the self within. For the kingdom of god dwells right within us.

Teleportation Logically Explained

I think I am wasting my life on computers. I should rather resort to researching on spirituality and philosophy, the subjects that really appeal to my psyche. Recently, I came across a description about how a yogi teleports himself within various different dimensions (i.e worlds or planes). When I tried to churn my thoughts and connect the dots, I was astonished to realize that everything that I have learnt as a math or science concept came bouncing back to prove its prior existence within the wings of spirituality.

To teleport between worlds, a yogi projects his spine onto the universal plane with the spine's top onto the Dhruva loka, the highest of the highest worlds and the spine's bottom onto the lowest of the lowest worlds where in formless ghouls reside. Beyond these worlds, both at the top and bottom, there is only a void that extends to infinity. All worlds (like the Sathya loka, brahma loka, Paatala loka, etc) lie within these two worlds. If one had learnt math, he could co relate it to the kind of problems in geometry and vector algebra that deal with projecting objects from a so and so plane onto a different plane that involve various operations like tilting the axis, revolving the object in a particular direction, etc. The mysticism associated with the act mentioned works on the same principle.

Once the projection is completed, the yogi has to move the matter i.e his body (when I say body, it can be either the sthula, sukshma or kaarana sharira i.e the subtle body, the astral body or the physical body, whatsoever the yogi wishes to teleport. For convenience one can assume body here to be the physical body if he/she is unaware about the types of bodies) between the worlds/dimensions. A normal scientist is capable of merely comprehending how matter behaves but a yogi is a scientist whose realms of knowledge and understanding extend beyond the mundane. He has access to the higher truths of universe. Everything that relates to matter is of the lower truth and hence it is child's play for a yogi to manipulate matter. In a scientific point of view everything we see is but matter that is made of tiny electrons, protons and neutrons. The only thing that differentiates objects in a holistic view is the proportion in which these electrons, protons and neutrons co exist. As in when an atom has one proton, two neutrons and no electrons, it is called a so and so hydrogen atom which exhibits specific characteristics and in turn conglomerates with other such atoms to form more complex matter that exhibit even different behaviour. So even in the gross level of talking material science, we can witness that it is just the concept of spirituality shining within it which affirms that ONE is turning into MANY. (like Okkatiga unna parabrahmamu ela inni vidhamulaga marpu chandi jagatthuga prakatithamavuthunnado). This explains why performing miracles come easy to them as in how an object can be materialized out of thin air and how one object can be changed into an other by merely altering the compositions and proportions of the matter.

Coming back to where I started, after the astral projection of the spine onto the highest and lowest worlds of the universe, the yogi disintegrates the particles of his body by his mere will (based on how the concept of manipulating matter is explained above) and moves them along the astral projection. On the other side of the world or dimension where he wishes to teleport himself, he conglomerates all these matter particles into their original composition to form his body intact as is. A person who knows quite a bit about computer science can comprehend this phenomena by co relating it with a similar such concept in computer networks. The data sent between a client and a server through a network is split into components called packets. All these packets take different routes in a random manner within a network to reach the other end. By the time all the packets arrive at the receiver end, all these disarranged packets are re-arranged as per how they ought to be as sent from the sender or client. Likewise, a yogi also conglomerates his bodily matter particles as per their exact compositions to retrieve his bodily form in the other dimension. And the reverse process of switching back to the current dimension is a repetition of the whole phenomena again.

Although one has to be very spiritually elevated to perform such acts. My intent is not to make the normal enthusiast reader indulge into anything mystic but is solely to re-affirm the faith and mysticism in the concepts of Hinduism which atheists and agnostics claim as humbugs, by explaining spirituality in the easiest way to a rationally conventional mind, taking the help of general concepts like math, science and reasoning.

Well, if you are an atheist plus a person who doesn't understand math, science or reasoning, then you can comfortably build yourself a bridge over a river and jump into it. The world has no use for the likes of you!

The Principle of Duality

There isduality in creation. It is impossible for creation to exist withoutduality. There exists a polar opposite to everything tangible andintangible in this world, at least spiritually. Birth - death,happiness - sadness, like - dislike, male – female, etc.

Thecreator, the created and the creation are inherently one. The createdpresumes that it, itself as an entity, is a part of the creation andsees the creator as an external entity of separate existence and sees duality in the world with a defined set of polaropposites. This is the perspective of the created whereas thecreator's perspective is not the same as we assume so. The creatorsees no duality. In other terms, the created would attain god state only when it goes beyond duality to fathom that the created, the creationand the creator are all one.

This is one simple reason whydualities like rich-poor, joy-pain, etc never touch a godrealized person. A good example depicting this, studying the life ofgod realized masters like Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Ramana Maharshi,Sai baba of Shiridi, we understand that, they never even cared totake a single pill prescribed by the doctors who were called byfellow disciples to treat them, in spite of bearing THE most terriblediseases like sarcoma and blood cancer. Ever understand why? This isonly and only possible to a person who has crossed the limits of dualityand reached a state beyond. Well, it is wrong to presume that a godrealized person doesn't experience physical pain.

This stateof god, beyond the mode of duality is typical, unique and is merelyimpossible to explain in words. The closest approach to make a humanmind understand this typical state of a god realized person is bycomparing it to the process of lucid dreaming. It is more like astate of a person who happens to consciously know that he is in themidst of a dream in which he is experiencing pain. With respect tothe dream, he does experience pain but the person is reluctant toeven consider giving a thought to the pain because he has realizedthe truth that the dream itself is a false reality as is. The realityis beyond the state of the dream.

This also explains the wholeexistence of god and creation. The wake state is a metaphor for god,the dream state is a metaphor for the creation and the created. Aslong as we remain in a dream, everything outside its scope i.e thewake state (existence of god) is perceived as unknown and external. But once thetruth regarding the false reality of a dream's existence is realized,the wake state is no more an external phenomena, rather it is thatwakefulness (god) that defines the dream and its events. It is morelike realizing that you, yourself are god, which is also called as selfrealization or the knowledge of the soul.

Time Explained

According to Sanatana Dharma, time is a relative concept that varies with space. Space here refers to dimensions or different planes of reference which independently co exist on three spheres of gross, subtle and mental planes. So 10 units of time on earth (physical plane) is not equal to 10 units of time on a parallel world on subtle or mental planes. Something similar to time lapsed in wake state versus time lapse in dream state. Within a dream experienced in deep sleep, events occur faster. You can also experience a whole life right from birth to death within the scope of a dream that lasts only for few minutes in physical plane.

In accordance with this relativity and dependency between time and space, Sanatana Dharma mentions that there are four yugas, each of which have their individual characteristics.

Kritha Yuga

This yuga is the golden age of mankind that lasts for a period of 1,728,000 earthly years. Man in this age is highly evolved and is in a very higher state of consciousness. People of this age seldom use words spoken by mouth to communicate with each other. They convey and perceive each other's thoughts with the power of their minds. Their evolved consciousness along with the power of the mind lets them perform things without using physical body. This is the golden age wherein Dharma shines gloriously firmly standing on its four feet. The only mode to reach god in this age is via self realization i.e to know that the finite self within is no different from the infinite consciousness called god. It is mere fragment of the latter.

Thretha Yuga

This yuga lasts for a period of 1,296,000 years and acts like penances are performed to reach god. A tinge of ignorance sprouts in the minds of people. Nevertheless, Sanatana Dharma shines gloriously with three feet in this age.

Dwapara Yuga

Ignorance of people is multiplied several fold and evil forces start shining. In order to cope with this, people perform many physical acts like rituals, yagnas and yaagas to please the gods and henceforth god helps such people and keeps evil and ignorance in control. This lasts for a period of 864,000 years.

Kali Yuga

This is the age of grotesque. Evil forces shine gloriously as blazing fire. The human mind is bereft of all its potential and is a slave of ignorance. Mind no more controls the senses rather it is the reverse. The senses control the mind which is a slave to emotions like lust, greed and anger. The presiding evil force for this age is the Kali purusha (not to mistake him with mother Kaalika), who is also referred to as Satan in Christianity and Islam. He governs the whole world in this age. He blinds the vision of god seducing the human mind with gross pleasures and turns a man into an atheist. Even a single step towards god in this age should be battled with mighty forces of Kali. Performing penances or rituals correctly in accordance with scriptures is beyond impossible in this age. So people resort to chanting the name of god which is a proven method mentioned in scriptures to move forward in the path towards god. This age lasts for a span of 432,000 years out of which only 5000 years (approx) have lapsed till date.

Each yuga is usually separated by a massive destruction of world, out of which only those souls survive (souls include everything from rocks, plants, animals, humans etc) which are bound to experience life in the next yuga.

About 2012

In a microscopic level, each yuga also has an antar-dasha (a sub period of time) in which a specific characteristic of that yuga shines at its peak. The period of Kali yuga was at its peak in its first antar-dasha (5000 years). Like the massive destruction that separates each yuga, a common deluge also separates each antar-dasha of a yuga. This common deluge as per Hinduism is bound to happen after an approximate period of 5000 years from the start of Kali yuga and also is the much talked about 2012 destruction. The whole 2012 deluge is not something that happens in a single day. It is a phase that involves a series of unfortunate events that contribute to the common deluge. Undoubtedly, many lives will be lost but not likely on a single day but until the common deluge phase persists. After this phase, the next antar-dasha ( a sub period within Kali yuga that shines with the properties of Sathya yuga) starts. As the next antar-dasha shines with properties of Sathya yuga, the effect of Kali on people is slightly lessened allowing them to think about god. This explains the thoughts of some religions that claim a cosmic transformation in the minds of people post-2012. However, it is to be remembered that it is still a sub phase of Kali yuga and hence it shall never be as glorious as the native Sathya yuga. Only the souls that are fit for this antar-dasha shall survive the common deluge and move on to the next.

Moving onto a macroscopic units of time, We have

Mahayuga

1 Mahayuga = (1 Kritha yuga + 1 Thretha yuga + 1 Dwapara yuga + 1 Kali yuga)

                    = 1,728,000 + 1,296,000 + 864,000 + 432,000 years

                    = 4,320,000 years

Manvanthara

1 Mavanthara = 71 Mahayugas

Kalpa

1 Kalpa = 14 Manvantharas

Each manvanthara is ruled by a manu. Manu is the progenitor of mankind and reveals the scriptures and events that include acts of god, happened in former kalpas aeons ago. There are 14 such manus, each of them rule a manvanthara within the cycle of 1 Kalpa. The fourteen manus are :

Swayambhuva Manu, Swarochisha, Utthama, Thaamasa, Raivatha, Chaakshusha, Vaivasvatha, Saavarni, Dakshasaavarni, Brahmasaavarni, Dharmasaavarni, Rudrasaavarni, Ruchi, Indrasaavarni.

We are currently under the rule of Vaivasvatha manu under Swetha varaha Kalpa.

Each of these manvantharas have different demigods (like Indra) and different Saptarishis. One has to remember that the name of a god/rishi represents state of consciousness and not a person or entity per se. For instance, Indra is not a single person. It is a state, something that is to be perceived as a position as is like Prime minister being a position and the person in the state of being a PM keeps changing.

The Ramayana that we know of is not something that had happened in this manvanthara. It happened aeons ago. Its remains on the current physical plane are a part of knowledge imbibed by the manu of this manvanthara to us.

Each kalpa is an equivalent of 1 day's time for Brahma who is god consciousness responsible for creation. He triggers the creation. God consciousness as Vishnu sustains the creation and as Shiva destroys it at the end of the day using fire or water elements. This is at a macroscopic level. The same process of creation, sustenance and death happens at microscopic level as birth, life and death of every entity subjected to time.

In such a way, creation occurs during the day of Brahma which is followed by sustenance and destruction. During the night Brahma dwells in yoga samadhi.. This process repeats itself for 100 brahma years after which Brahma consciousness merges itself in Vishnu consciousness, the primal force behind its creation. This is again followed by the creation of a new Brahma for the next cycle. Likewise the life of Vishnu and Shiva who are on equal planes is twice that of Brahma after which they themselves merge in the infinite universal consciousness. (Note that life when I mention here does not literally mean life as is. Life of Vishnu refers to the phase in which the single universal attributeless god consciousness exhibits itself as Vishnu).This infinite universal consciousness rests in this state and a new cycle begins again. This is a never ending phenomenon.

As long as the mind dwells in ignorance, we appear to be a part of this infinite cycle dwelling in duality consequently undergoing several births and deaths. As the soul evolves, it understands that it is a fragmented reality of a phenomenon called god. It eventually realizes that there is ONE in ALL and ALL in ONE, and hence it perceives the whole process in a third man's frame of reference, in which the process of creation, sustenance and destruction appears to be like a dream.

Math, Religion & Truth

In terms of spirituality, I think there is no such thing as truth (except for the existence of god). I've never really understood why there are so many religious differences in this world. I've always believed in the fact that god is one and all religions lead to a single destination. But in reality this was more difficult a fact to comprehend. Being a staunch practitioner of Hinduism, I've given utmost importance to it, sometimes crossing my own limits to belittle the rest at the cost of laying emphasis on it. Either ways I felt bad that this should not be the right approach for a person who believes that god is one by all means.

Every religion in the world speaks of god and his different colors. They speak about partial aspects of the truth about god yet there is no such religion that can claim the sole possession of god. When each of these religions share a portion of the truth about god, the natural approach for a person trying to understand god would rather be to combine all these partial truths present in all the religions to gain access to a truth that is less partial and more accurate. But in a bizarre manner, when we try to combine these partial truths in all the religions, it only leads to further controversy leaving us in an even more confused and puzzled state. For example : One religions claims that god himself forbade people to worship him in a form of an idol, Some other religion claims that god can be worshipped in any form and he shall answer the prayers of a true heart irrespective of any conditions. So let us take these two premises (partial truths belonging to each of the two religions) and try to combine them to obtain a greater truth.

Premise 1 : Idol worship is forbidden as god is formless.

Premise 2 : Idol worship is allowed as god manifests himself in whatever form worshipped.

Trying to combine these two premises to obtain a greater accurate result is nearly impossible. That is because Premise 1 and 2 are mere contradictions to each other. Combining them would give us nothing. The more insights you apply to this weird phenomena, the more you get to understand the way god works. It is more like simple math. As said before, religions have access to partial truth about god. Partial meaning probable, Lets say premise 1 of a religion stands out with a partial probability of 0.5 and premise 2 with a partial probability of an other 0.5. What we would probably obtain my combining the two partial truths is :

0.5 * 0.5 = 0.25 ( Combining these partial truths would yield a truth that is even more partial and less accurate )

So why do you think god landed us in this unsolvable puzzle of contradictions between religions? God cannot be limited to one religion, to one sacred text, to one particular location or to one particular group of people because if he really confined himself in such a way, it simply means that he is unjust by depriving the set of people not belonging to the above mentioned set. So that leaves us with the fact that all religions have some veracity and authenticity in them. So the only left out job is to find out the missing piece, the truth that unites all the religions, a missing link that can erase all the contradictions between religions.

Heading back to the opening statement, truth is never whole. There is so such thing as complete truth except for existence of god. Truth is totally contextual. Truth always varies with time and space. As mentioned in one of my earlier posts, let's compare the veracity of a truth verses its context.

Truth : I am Vamsi.

Contextual contradiction : Who was I before I was given a name?

Truth : I love pancakes.

Contextual contradiction : Will my love for pancakes remain the same after forcing myself to eat a 100 of them?

Truth : I look at myself in the mirror and assume that this is the way I look.

Contextual contradiction : What is the proof that the image that a human eye sees is real? May be we are all wrong of the truth about what we see. A cockroach sees objects as a 10 times magnified image and some other animal sees an object with 20 times its size dimnished?

10 times (real size) or 1/20 times (real size), We keep saying real size but what exactly is real. We are so convinced with the reality that we believe in. Is there any such thing as real when it is all relative. In reality there is no proof that the images of objects that we see with our eye lens are capable enough to capture the truth in a totality.

So it all boils down to the fact that truth is partial and contextual. So if god insists a person (of one religion) not to perform idol worship and an other (of another religion) to perform idol worship, the only missing link that binds the two contradictions of the same god's ideology is THE CONTEXT. It is probably more like a doctor prescribing medicine to a patient. Two patients approaching the same doctor with the same disease will or probably never be treated with an exactly same medicine. The way of prescribing the medicine might vary according to the patient's innate subtle nature. This is the way god works out his brilliant plan and executes it with utmost diligence to create a perfect puzzle called life. The ignorant kids of god are either too lazy to even think about the puzzle or too busy fighting over petty matters of religion claiming authority on god while the witty kids who love math are too busy finding out the missing piece. ;-)

The Essence of All Religions

There can be many ways to reach god. It is certainly an undeniable fact, something that is too hard for a practitioner adhering to one faith/religion/belief to accept with its veracity. As rightly said, the ways are many but the goal is ONE. On what basis does a spiritual practitioner get to choose his way is totally a push of god that is decided based on the subtle inherent qualities of the practitioner.

Religions, scriptures, and texts related to god are totally biased. God cannot be described in his original state of pure consciousness that is devoid of attributes or form or of any other duality. Human mind dwells in duality. A man and a woman, pleasure and pain, name and shape all of such mental conceptions being the result of the inherent duality that the mind sees. In such state of mind, it is hard to understand the ONE attributeless god and hence out of mere grace, god has taken form each time displaying attributes that the human mind can objectively relate to. Hence in this case, it would be a lot easier for the mind to understand a conceptualized god rather than that of the same god who is without attributes and form.

All religions usually hold onto one or fewer attributes of this conceptualized god but not necessarily all. That being said because god can never be put on paper or discussed on the grounds of religion because in conception, his attributes are infinite and in reality he is formless totally without attributes. So the act of taking physical or cosmic forms by god would be bound to certain limitations (not for the god but for the human mind that sees him) called attributes. For example: When god came down as Jesus Christ, he bore the sins of mankind, he was full of compassion towards all. So compassion here being one attribute of Jesus that Christianity describes. But just to think of it, If Christ had really wanted to, couldn't he escape the crucifixion by his own power and annihilate the evil ones behind it? Yes indeed! he totally could do that but he didn't, Why? Because the role he chose for his physical form of being Jesus Christ was probably not meant to portray the I-can-slay-evil attribute.

On the contrary, god can even come down as Rama and slay evil. In this form he displyas an added attribute of his prowess to slay evil. So each time god comes down, he totally has a different plan altogether for the physical form he takes. It is all his play. Religions catch hold of one or few such forms of god as basis and use this conceptualized form of god to explain his infinite form in full. Bur remember, this whole process of god taking physical form displaying finite attributes is a mere attempt to make the human mind stick onto the attribute that it prefers to comprehend the infinite. If one visualizes god being compassionate, he can choose to worship Christ. If one visualizes god as a heroic prince who can slay evil, he can very well worship Rama. In this way, the mind can hold onto any one such attributes of god and realize his subtle infinite form. This being the essence of all religions.

So, a wise person should always embrace all religions without hesitation believing the fact that god can take forms as he wishes at any time at any place of the world and it is all his play. It is totally pointless to even think that god can be restricted to a religion. Just think of it, If god can only be reached through Christianity of the west, then wouldn't it be injustice on his part that he made himself inaccessible to his children of the east? In the same way if he was restricted only to Hinduism of India, wouldn't it be unfair for the rest of the world? Extending this concept to time, god will continue to come down even now and in latter times as well, because wouldn't it be unfair to people being born now or later if he was limited to a 20 B.C Jesus Christ or the Rama of Thretha yuga?

God is neither restricted to a religion or a holy scripture nor is bound to dimensions like space or time. So it is a best practice for every human to embrace all religions and all forms of god with respect understanding the fact that god with form (of a religion) is only a force to hold onto, to understand his formless REAL self. One can choose the form of god that he'd love to worship, choose the religion or faith that he belongs to and cling onto that one attribute of manifested god described by that belief/faith to understand the ONE attributeless GOD as a whole.

In the process, one must be very careful not to develop an obsession towards the faith/belief/religion as it just gives a ground to take a first step towards god. A person who develops an obsession for the love of god would be bound to break the shackles of duality and would unite with god himself but a person who develops love for a faith/religion would move no where in the path towards god. God forbid, in the worst scenario the excess of love for a faith/religion would make him offend other faiths and other forms of god and in turn he would fall steeply from the path of spirituality and would make things worse. So in short, The only truth that a spiritual practitioner should engrave deep within the depths of his soul is that, there is ONE IN MANY and MANY IN ONE.

<div conveys
Instead of using logic to investigate if he is a fake or real.

Yes, I’d welcome any religion’s teachings with open arms
Because my mother said they are just branches of the tree of faith that I believe in.

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: I ask of you, the blood and flesh of the man who hath disdained me for the love of his wife. For, this fire of lust in me shall not stop burning until I taste the warmth of his royal blood. “

khara gets furious learning that his sister Shoorpanaka was insulted and rejected by King Ram. With an army of 14,000 soldiers, he marches towards the ashram where prince Ram, lakshman and Seetha reside in the forest.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Taking a glimpse at the massive army of Khara marching forward, Prince Ram orders his brother Lakshman to guard Seetha, safely away from the battlefield in a cave beside the ashram. Seetha is horrified learning the fact that her man was about to fight in single, with such a massive army. Since twelve years of marriage, she has never seen her man fight in a war and hence she trembles with fear, and worriedly rebukes Lakshman:

"Oh Lakshman! How hath the love for thy kin become so futile? For, how shall ye forsake Ram in such dire straits? I beg of you Lakshman!, Please extend a hand to help Ram in the battle.”

Understanding her fear and anxiety, Lakshman immediately responds to Seetha,

“Dear Oh mother Seetha, the consort of king Ram!! Thou shall see now, the prowess of thy man in battle and war. For he be the one, who hath never known the face of defeat in a battlefield. Behold oh Seetha!! to witness the wrath of thy man, who be the mightiest warrior on the face of earth.”

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Facing the humongous army of 14,000 soldiers, he walks in composure like a hungry lion that closes in for a kill. Blowing against him, the mighty forest wind ruffles his disheveled hair audaciously lingering around his mighty bull sized arms, one bearing the bow and the other bearing arrows. Following a left and right sequence, his feet move in congruence with his arms, tramping the forest ground heavily. With eyes of awe and a sense of fear and anxiety, from the cave’s opening, she takes a glimpse at her man, whose eyes show no signs of fear.

Closing in, as he tightens the grip on his rainbow shaped weapon, the veins of his biceps swell, unable to withstand the tensional force caused by his might. As an act of warming up, he pulls the cord of his majestic bow with all his might. It erupts a monstrous deafening sound, upon listening to which hundreds of soldiers and thousands of horses and elephants carrying their chariots die at an instant with blood oozing out of their ears and noses, unable to bear the twang of the bow. He finally wears the mask of divine fury on his face and hence becomes frightful-looking, like the blaze of a thousand suns. He takes an attacking stance and starts showering arrows (shashtras) towards the frontline of the army, that which strike them hard like thunderbolts of the rain god, into their chests piercing through the armors. Hundreds of the demon army pass out in a wink. With the speed of lightening, he fires hundreds and hundreds of eagle feathered golden arrows that sweep out the front army like a tornado that devastates a land.

With fury, Khara and the remaining demon army march forward towards Ram bombarding him with bludgeons, lances, tridents, darts and hatchets. Some of them are counterattacked, some of them are escaped and some of them strike his body. Fresh blood oozes out of his arms and chest reaching out till his limbs. Soaked in blood, Ram looks likes the enraged Rudra who is all set to perform the cosmic dance (thandavam) at the time of destruction. Even though his body is gashed with the gruesome assault weapons, he is not enfeebled but he still stands in total control of himself, like the mighty mountain of Meru. The wounds on his body enrage him further and he is provoked to fire the Gandharva astra that multiplies one to ten, tens to hundreds, hundreds to thousands of arrows. Like the death god who engulfs the lives, thousands of demons fall crying out cacophonous noise depicting the unbearable pain of suffering. By the time two thirds of the army is already shattered with their blood flowing like water on the forest land. The rest of the army, helpless yet still furious, attack Ram encircling him in all the directions. With giant trees and rocks in hand they close in to him. Taking a look at the army closing in, in all directions, he shears off the ornaments worn on his hands and is ready to pounce. It is now, that the young prince displays the pinnacle of the sport of archery that he had mastered with ease, for whose prowess in which there cannot be an other man on the face of earth who is equivalent of his class in archery.

Moving around in a circle at the point of his stance, he showers arrows radially in all directions with the speed of sound. Upon being hit by these fierce arrows, the demons closing in fall flat on the ground smudged in blood, completely devastated, dying a painful death. By then the whole army gets defeated with less than ten soldiers left out alive, some of them turning their backs, running away from the battlefield and the rest lay injured on ground helplessly staring at him with eyes seeking mercy. As it is against the royal principles of his dictionary of Dharma, he does not lift the bow against an enemy who runs away from the field or he who seeks mercy unto him. Standing beneath the scorching sun, soaked in blood, he places his right leg and the bow on a rock nearby and shouts out loud, challenging the left out demon soldiers,

“Is there a soul among this 14,000, living or dead, he who is willing to challenge me in war?”

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To seek refuge under their king, Raavan and to inform him about the happenings in the battle the left out soldiers continue to run away from the battlefield. Looking at this, Ram confirms the end of the battle and turns back. He finds his wife Seetha rushing towards him with pride and awe. This is the very first time she had seen her man performing in a battle. With love and emotions gushing out, she embraces him tightly and buries herself within his shoulders, not caring about the blood that sticks on to her cheeks as she hugs him.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PS: Most of us imagine and perceive the quieter, calm and composed side of Lord Ram, I just wanted to show his other angle to the world. What I've described is not even 1/zillionth of what a man he actually is! You can refer to Valmiki Ramayana's Aranyana kaanda for this particular battle and also Yuddha Kaanda for the battle with Raavan.

PPS: I also take this opportunity to explain the difference between an astra and shastra in archery. A shastra is a mere arrow i.e a physical one that relates itself with the physical strength, force and aim with which it is left by the archer. Where as an astra, is not a physical weapon. Upon chanting the specific mantra, any object on which the mantra is invoked manifests itself as a weapon and can thus give miraculous results in a war like the weapon manifesting itself as fire or water or a trident or a serpent or whatever !!

Blasphemy About The Caste System

Firstly, I would say that caste system in the hindu mythology was never a criteria for divsion rather it is a criteria for classification. The four basic castes being the brahmin, kshatriya, vaishya and the shudra..On what basis are people classified into these castes? We humans are significantly unique from each other and we possess some inherent qualities. These inherent qualities that are predominant in each of us form the basis of classification.

On a general basis we say,
A brahmin is a person who has a deeper insight to things and who is also endorsed with better understanding and indulges himself in worshipping the lord.
A kshatriya being a person who has excellent administrative skills and fights for protecting his subjects.
A vasihya is a person who possesses the bussiness skills and indulges himself into trading and other money related activities.
A shudra being the one who is endorsed with gross qualities like physical strength, etc and indulges himself in any other job other than the above.

Each one of us possess all the characters of these castes more or less in different proportions. For example: When a person prays to god with a pure heart, he is like a brahmin. When he fights to protect himself and his family, he acts like a kshatriya. When he works hard to earn a living, he is like a Vaishya. When he enjoys material pleasures, he is like a shudra..So in a way, everyone has all the characters of all the castes but then the predominant attribute (samskara) of all four is that which decides a person's caste.

The caste system is a part of Dharmashastra in the hindu scriptures. Dharma is the set of rules that one has to follow inorder to live a life. And again people ask why do we have to follow the set of rules? It is genuinely because we donot know why we are born, we neither know the reason or the cause for our lives which means that there is some force that is governing our birth, life and death. When there is a force that governs everything, what is the difficulty to believe that there are certain rules that are prescribed by the force. Let me quote an example to understand it better. let us say that a human designs a robot, which implicitly means that the robot isn't technically responsible for its birth and death. It is the human hand that governs its being. Also the human designs it in such a way that the robot is certainly given freedom to act but not to act on its own. There are some set of protocols that are inherently enforced on a robot by the human hand that governs it. And the robot must obey the rules under any circumstance. Same is the case with our creation wherein dharma is a set of protocols that are enforced on us by god just like the way in which we enforce protocols to the working of a robot. The major difference is that god has given us free will. Something which cannot be programmed even with artificial intelligence. Now coming back to the caste system. Why do we have to classify the human creation on the basis of caste? let me explain it with the same example, Each robot designed by the human serves a specific task. One robot looks like a dog and is designed to act as a pet to the human and an other looks like a human and is designed to serve the human by helping him in house hold work. This means every robot that is designed by the human is unique and meant for performing a specific task. Here comes the need to classify. We obviously dont call a dog-like-robot and a servant-like-robot with a same name..Do we? we classify them under two different categories namely service robot and household robot..But whatever might be the task assigned to the robots, they are obviously serving the same human..In the same way, caste was just a way to categorize people. One must be aware that whatever might be our caste (the work that we do), we are serving the one and only god.

It is in the recent past that people started discriminating themselves based on caste saying things like shudras were low lives and their jobs were menial. This is bad. Bad not only because they are discriminating each other, but bad because they are totally projecting the caste system in a way that was never meant to be so. In fact the classification based on caste existed since ages and ages. In case if the caste system really said that a shudra is a low life, then people would have fought since then itself. Why would they bear such humiliation for thousands of years and ages together. And also, it is a lame argument that a shudra is a low life. I literally donot understand why people have made a joke of the caste system. Now who said that a plumber's job is menial. If there are no plumbers in the world, would you clean your own drainage of your bathroom? The vedas never mentioned that such people's lives are useless.

I would also like to speak on few controversial issues in the hindu scriptures..

1) A shudra isn't allowed to perform yagnas, poojas and other complicated holy tasks : Yes it is true. Now people make a fuss of it but none of them really know that, a shudra who utters the name of the holy lord once in a day is given equivalent credit as a brahmin who performs gigantic rituals with utmost complications like fasting, sacrifices, offerings, etc..

2) A brahmin is considered greater by birth : No, not necessarily true..The life of a brahmin is the most toughest of all the other castes..A brahmin must not enjoy material pleasures like drinking, smoking but there is no such explicit rule enforced on people of other three castes (Now please donot think that hinduism had asked people of other castes to drink and smoke. No, it is just that an explicit rule is not mentioned to them). A brahmin must never make an attempt to earn money..He must be always be satisfied with what he has got. He must not even crave for simple material pleasures like sleeping on a bed, eating greedily etc. He must say his holy prayers atleast three times a day. He must never be driven by material emotions like anger, sex and hatred. And many more. Now tell me how many of them are like that? If a person isn't performing his prescribed tasks (atleast to some extent), there is no reason to boast about his birth..

In a way, the caste system was more apt in the earlier times because everything about the olden age was flawless. People went by rules at that time. Eventually, as time passed the borderlines of classification have weakened. Now we are in an age in which we act as per the senses and not by the intellect. We totally bear the credit for misinterpreting the caste system of vedas. We misunderstood it. We started the discrimination among ourselves based on our stupid misinterpretation and why the hell are we blaming the scriptures and
religion for it? If we have got a reason to blame, we must blame ourselves. Why am I not a dog??..We dont find answers to these questions..Because we cannot give good reasons about why we deserve to have this comfortable human body over a dog's body..There is undoubtedly an unknown reason why we have this body but the fact is we donot know what the reason or what the process of attaining this body is..Life after a human comes after a big struggle..As I have mentioned in one of my previous posts about the evolution of soul, the holy soul(paramatma)splits up into many individual souls(atma)..So technically the atma and the paramatma are one and the same, made up of the same substratum..All the paths and religions ultimately converge at one dead end called the holy union of the individual soul and the holy soul..Though the atman and param-atman are made up of the same substratum the major difference lies in the amount of consciousness in both..The holy soul totally understands its existence and its full consciousness whereas the soul doesnt..More the degree of consciousness(awareness) of the atma, more closer and similiar it is to that of the param-atma..The atma goes through these stages before attaining the body of a human..

Stage 1) The rock: The rocks and the immovable things also contain a soul in them but this being the very first stage, the soul has the least amount of consiousness(awareness)..It is unaware of the sensation of touch, movement and everything else..After decades and centuries, the soul develops its consiousness..Lets say it is something like, the soul totally understands and comprehends the experience of the limited awareness in a rock and it feels the necessity to surpass its awareness..For example: It is similar to a young boy being given a task of studying kindergarten..After some time say an year or so, the boy is totally and perfectly aware of what is in the course..Hence out of a necessity to surpass his own degree, he enters the first standard..A boy doesnt repeat kindergarten again and again even after mastering it..Same is with the soul..A soul in a rock doesn't remain to be the same, it increases its degree of consciousness and enters the next stage..

Stage 2) The tree: The soul in a tree is comparitively higher in its degree of awareness than that of a rock..The tree additionally has a life (Terms like life and lifespan are for a body alone and not for a soul, the soul is eternal)..Even then its degree of consciousness is limited, it is unaware of the sensation of touch and movement..Hence after mastering this stage of evolution, the soul proceeds with its evolution..

Stage 3) The insects: The insects undoubtedly have a higher degree of consciousness because they possess the sensation of life, touch, movement, etc..As a sub classification, within the insects class there can further be higher sub classes and lower sub classes of existence..For example: we can presume that life of a tiny ant is surely inferior to that of a large insect..The soul bears all the bodies in order to increase its awareness and finally it proceeds to the next stage..

Stage 4) The fish and other water living creatures: Similiar process of evolution continues..

Stage 5) The bird: The bird stage obviously has higher degree than all the above stages..The theory of sub classes in the insects also hold good for the bird stage..Obviously a vulture is superior to a sparrow..In garuda purana, Lord Vishnu says that the eagle(as a form of vishnu) remains to be the superior existence among the bird clan..

Stage 6) The animal: The same process of evolution repeats..The lion being the superior existence among all in the animal class..Superiority is talked in terms of consciousness (awareness)..More the superiority lesser the animal instinct, and more the awarenesss..For example: A basic animal instinct is to kill, but a lion kills only if it is hungry..It never hunts if it isn't hungry..It never eats decayed food..Whereas a leopard does..This shows that a lion is less animal(in both instinct and awareness) than that of a leopard..After the animal stage, finally comes the human stage..

Stage 7) The human: In order to cross the above stages, the soul bears lakhs of different bodies for crores of years and finally evolves its perception, awareness or consciousness..After this struggle it takes the body of a human..The soul in a human body possesses the highest degree of consiousness and perception thus making human the most superior clan when compared to others..Further more, there are seven sub stages in the human soul, in the path of attaining full consiousness..All of us are in the first stage, the gross stage in which we are bound to the emotions of sex, emptying the bowels and other material aspects..For example: We cannot conquer the sexual emotions because we are bound to it..When we conquer these emotions, our degree of awareness proceeds to the 2nd stage..Stage by stage, the atma increases its degree of consiousness and in the final seventh substage, it gains full awareness of its existence and understands that the atma and paramatma are one and the same..They are not different entities..This is what we call as the holy union of soul and the holy soul..

PS: Even in terms of science or spirituality, things that happen around us are not random acts..In pure technical terms, nothing happens without a reason and a process..

The Esoteric Truth

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; You might have laughed at it and considered it as rubbish..Well, if you are one among those who consider this statement as foolish, then you need to realize that your understanding and analytical thinking standards are immeasurably puny..Trust me, this statement is the sword of wisdom..It is more like an unsolvable question..Realizing the answer to the statement is the true essence of life..I didn't find the answer but still I give my approach to it..:)

Hmmm..So How do I realize that the world is an illusion??..What is this reality??..To understand the basic facts about truth and reality, just consider the below statements..

Statement: "I love pancakes"..
Implying truth: I like to eat pancakes..
Vagueness: Will the statement hold good after I eat 50 pancakes??

Statement: "I am vamsi"..
Implying truth: I am called by the name vamsi..
Vagueness: Who was I before I was named??

Statement: "I desire woman"..
Implying truth: I love the consort of a woman..
Vagueness: Do I love the consort always 24*7??

Statement: "The earth is round in shape.."
Implied truth: implies the spherical structure of earth..
vagueness: Will the shape of earth remain the same after 9999999999999999999999999 years..??May be..May not be..

So just consider any statement that you speak and analyse it..When you analyse it in such a bizarre manner you will realize that there is no truth in anything that we speak or anything that we know..No statement gives you the experience of truth..The validity of any fact or statement changes according to the dimensions of space and time..Every single statement has vagueness..And where there is vagueness or uncertainity, there is no scope for understanding reality..A statement remains as truth when its certainity is valid totally irrespective of space and time dimensions..So now we understand that "unchangeability" is the necessary attribute of truth..

Now that you have understood about truth's necessary characteristic, Start analysing yourself..For example, when it is freezing cold, I wish for a heater..When I witness unbearable heat, I wish for an air conditioner..So both my desires to experience the heat in coldness and cold in hotness remain as untrue because they donot possess the unchangeability..The same goes with every single desire that you have..Be it desire for money, sex or anything..A desire changes its state and never comes to a stand still..As these desires donot possess unchangeability, we must brand them as unreality (illusions)..

Now, I experience a range of emotions when I am awake..Do they remain when I am in deep sleep??..Certainly not..Again, here the emotions donot possess the characteristic of unchangeability..So, it is clear there is no truthfulness associated with this emotions of joy, pain, anger or whatever..Because they are ever changing based on time, space and situation..

Now, When I take a look at myself into the mirror I realise a figure in front..So am I the figure that stands in front of me??..Is this the truth??..Well, certainly no.. because the body witnesses change with time and space..In this way when you start analysing everything in this manner, you will realize that there is no truth to anything that we see, witness and experience in this world..This is the method of elimination that a practitioner adapts in his path of realization..The practitioner analyses everything in the material world and brands it saying "Nayithi--Nayithi--Nayithi" (in sanskrit it means Not this--Not this--Not this)..So once you start realizing about what-not-is-the-truth, the thing-that-is-the-truth will start revealing itself.. At the pinnacle of this process of realizing, the practitioner experiences the ultimate reality that, there is only one thing that remains as the esoteric truth..The unchangeable thing which existed, which exists and which will exist, is the divine self of the Atman......

Male & font-family: inherit;">

Noun

Attributes of the noun

Shiva

Shakthi (power)-an attribute of the male Shiva..

Vishnu

Lakshmi (wealth/goodness)-an attribute of the male Vishnu..

Brahma

Saraswathi (learning)-an attribute of the male Brahma..

Ganesh

Siddhi, Buddhi (perfection & intellect)-attributes of the male Ganesh..

So, the Hindu names are usually in such a way that male is the noun and the female is the adjective..Together the noun and adjective talk about the holy soul..For example: Let us assume that you want to know about me..If you want to know about me, my name(noun) is not sufficient..You need adjectives(attributes) to know about me..So together with the name and describing words you come to know about me..In the same way, by knowing the male and female together, one can understand about the holy soul..

As I have already said, the male and female donot exist independently..They stay united always but we dont realize it..The prakrithi (female) exhibits maya(illusion)..This maya restricts us from seeing the male(i.e from gaining divine knowledge)..So, we humans dwell in this illusion (maya) and continue with the cycles of birth and death..Once the purusha (the divine knowledge) is known, we get liberated.. To explain this with the former examples, We as humans, deal only with the adjectives and not with the nouns to which they belong i.e. We seek more and more power, wealth, etc but fail to realize that they actually belong to god (noun)..we only see the light that puts us in illusion but we fail to see the flame that is responsible for the light to glow..Once the practitioner experiences this truth of the holy union, he/she will be liberated..

<img width='1' height='1' theory that Hinduism is the oldest religion in the world..This theory will be explained by illustrating good amount of theoetical proofs and practical proofs..In this process, firstly I would like to deal with theoretical aspect of how other religions share links with hinduism..

1) Buddhism, jainism and Sikhism

It is quite easy to prove that Hinduism is older than these three religions because the soul concept of the above mentioned three religions is "to follow the path of non violence and to treat all living beings with love and compassion"..This concept of adapting non-violence is already prescribed in the Hindu scriptures and moreover the founders of these religions namely Lord Buddha(Siddhartha), Lord Mahavir and Guru Nanak, all of them are from Indian origin..So it is quite obvious from their teachings as well as their origins that they did have an influence from Hinduism..If you go through the scriptures of these three religions along with Hinduism, you can find that everything present in these three religions will surely be present in Hinduism and not necessarily vice versa..

2) Islam and Christianity

The concept of creating Adam and Eve is exactly same as that in Hinduism..It is told in the Kapila Geetha..In another context of christianity, god destroys the world by flooding it with water..He saves Noah the noble man in a gigantic ship..This story is already told in the pre verses of Bhagavad geetha in which Lord Vishnu in the form of Varaha saves the earth from a flood..He also protects Swayambhuva Manu(his loyal devotee) in a gigantic ship..In this manner there are many things similiar in Bible stories and Hinduism..I personally believe Islam is more ancient than christianity..Because there can only be two chances for a religion to come into existence..One possibility is that the scriptures of a religion are already present but its source cannot be tracked..Second possibility is that a god person(prophet or a messenger) realizes god and shows a path on how to reach god..The path later becomes a religion..Lord Jesus, Buddha, Mahavir, Guru Nanak were messengers of god who realized god and out of unconditional grace showed the world a path to reach god that which later became Christianity, Buddhism, jainism and Sikhism respectively..Though islam had prophets like Muhammad and many others it cannot be claimed that all teachings of Islam were from them alone..All the sources of the Islam literature cannot be tracked..Islam talks about one almighty who is shapeless, omnipotent and omniscient called the Allah..This type of worship to god is covered in a branch of Hinduism called Advaita Sidddhanta (a work of Adi Sankaracharya)..All concepts of Quran that deal with the existence of a single almighty are present in it..Just like I said above, significant teachings of the Holy Quran are all present in Hinduism but not necessarily vice versa..

3) Greek, Mayan and other mythologies

To be very frank, these are the religions that are predominantly similiar to Hinduism in almost all the aspects..The greek gods in their scriptures are more like those in Hinduism..For eg: The olympian Zeus who is a greek god is very synonymous to Lord Indra in the Hindu scriptures..Both of them carry a Lightning bolt..And both of them are called as the God of lightning and thunder..The olympians, titans, the trojan wars of the greek scriptures are very much similiar to the devathas, asuras, daanavas, etc in our Hindu scriptures..Coming into the egyptian and Mayan mythologies, the deities and the forms of god in their cultures are very much similiar to that in Hinduism..Few of the forms of the gods in their scriptures very much look alike the Varaha avatara, Kurma avatara of Lord Vishnu wherein half body is that of a human and the rest half is that of an animal..Moreover the very ancient script of the eyptians called "The eyptian Book of the Dead", talks about the pre death and post death happenings of a soul that are covered in the Garuda Purana of Hinduism..And all these believe in the theory of reincarnation proposed in our culture..

What I want to convey in this post is not only about the missing links between Hinduism and other religions..The key point here is ONE HINDUISM is sharing many missing links with all the existing religions in the world..So I guess this is theoretically sufficient to prove Hinduism is the oldest religion in the world..

Big deal isnt it??..There are many theories available but no practical proofs..Is this on your mind now??..Okay here is a good proof to prove the above theory of mine..All the teachings in our scriptures are available in the Devanagri sanskrit script..Many ancient scripts like Bible of the other religions were available in ancient Latin and Greek..So scientifically, it is a fact that Latin and greek are two of the oldest languages in the world from which even english is derived..Here are few words of Latin/arabic/greek that seem to be derived from sanskrit..

Sarpa(sanskrit) --> Serpentum(latin) --> Snake(english)
Naas(sanskrit) --> Nasus (latin) --> Nose
Patha(sanskrit) --> Pathes(greek) --> Path(english)
Danta(sanskrit) --> Dentis(latin) --> Dental(english)
Dwaar(sanskrit) --> Doru(latin) --> Door(english)
Dwi(sanskrit) --> Dio (greek)--> Two(english)
Ashta (sanskrit) --> Okto (greek) --> Eight(english)
Bhrathr(sanskrit) --> Phrater(latin) -->brother(english)
madhyam(sanskrit) --> medium(latin) --> medium(english)
Loka(place in sanskrit) --> Locus(latin) --> Locale(english)
Yauvana(youth in sanskrit) --> Juvenelis(latin) --> Juvenile(english)
Nava(means new in sanskrit) --> Novus(latin) --> Nova/New (english)
Thri(sanskrit) --> Treis (greek) --> Three(english)
vachas(meaning speech) --> Vocem(latin) --> Voice(english)
Pithr(sanskrit)-->Pater(latin)-->father(english)
Navagatha(sanskrit)--> navigationem(latin) --> navigation(english)
PS: Well, It is a pity that people lack belief in god and religion..People always demand scientific proofs for everything..In the subject of spirituality, trust is the foremost qualification..This post is an attempt to logically prove that Hinduism is the oldest of all religions..Its only a mere wish of mine that if religion and god are proved logically, then people might have a chance to turn towards spirituality..

Evolution of Life

<img alt="" border="0" height="200" margin-top: 0px; width: 225px;" width="200" />

Well, This is not related to scientific stuff like Darwin's theory..Here I explain the evolution of life based on what is present in our scriptures..Did you ever imagine how complex the evolution could have been??..The scriptures say that there was nothing initially..No life, no elements, not even the space..Technically it is hard to imagine the nothingness but it existed that way..We need to imagine that there was nothing but void..So who was god when nothing was present in the world??..

The answer is confusing but please keep your brains agile..:) Well, God (the holy soul or paramatma) was that nothingness..Yes, god indeed was that nothingness..There was one consciousness alone which was unconscious of its presence..It had no material existence..For example: When we are into deep sleep (without dreams), we are unaware of our presence..We dont even associate ourselves with our body..No thoughts exist..So there is just nothingness when we are in very deep sleep..This was the initial state..

The first change that occured in nothingness was that the nothingness witnessed the need to become conscious of its presence..Suppose if the deep sleep state of ours gets changed into dream state, what happens??..In the dream we become aware of our presence..That is exactly synonymous to what happened to the nothingness..It was the time when the nothingness felt the need to manifest itself as something..It then manifested itself as sound first..The sound being AUM (OM)..Next the elements and so on..In the process of the holy soul(param-atma) trying to manifest itself, many individual souls (jeev-atma) kept emerging from the holy soul to establish their identity..Just imagine this process of souls splitting from holy soul, like a sudden explosion..Guess what?? this is very similiar to the BIG BANG THEORY proposed by the scientists..

In this way the holy soul split itself to feel its own existence..The single holy soul split into many and then each soul associated itself with a material body to feel the existence..Oops!! now where did this body come from?? Remember I said it is exactly like the dream state of god..What happens in dream??..You create everything out of nothing..The mind creates its own mini world in a dream..Isnt it??..In the same way, material bodies were associated with the splitting souls..The process of splitting continues just like a nuclear fission..As a result of which, even we came into existence..

If we try to analyze our own life, we can witness that each one of us feel our own existence..In the flow of life, we prove our existence by associating ourselves with many things like the body, other people around, etc..For ex:I feel I am so and so..I am this..I am that..All this is a natural course of proving our own existence..So, indirectly we are carrying the thought process of the initial nothingness..We are all a part of it..

So, what is the true purpose of our creation??..We must stop associating ourselves with the splitting world to realize the nature of soul first..When we realize the nature of soul, then we become aware that we got split from the holy soul..In fact the soul then realizes that I dint get split, It is me who split..The nothingness was me..

"So people!!!..You are living in god's dream..Wake up, To realize that you are GOD.."

The Holy One

The many god controversy in HINDU culture:-

When other cultures emphasize on saying god is one, why do we have many gods here??..Well, donot worry..Even Hinduism tells god is ONE..The creation, sustaining and destruction of life is done by one single god..When the single-god does creation, he is called brahma..When he sustains life, he is called Vishnu..When he destroys, he is called Shiva..So the three mentioned above are not three different entities..They are just three jobs governed by a single entity.. The proof for this is also found at many places in the scriptures..

In the Vishnu sahasranamam, we can find that at many places Lord Vishnu is termed as the destroyer of life and similiarly in the Rudram, Lord Shiva is termed as the creator and sustainer of life..So this only depicts that the holy soul is one, but it manifests itself by associating itself with different names when doing specific actions..To illustrate the concept, I would like to give an example..

Suppose a person possesses a gold ring, gold chain and a gold bracelet..The ring, chain and the bracelet are just names that are associated with one material called GOLD..That means we can see that a single gold material can manifest itself as a ring, chain and also a bracelet..So when we are trying to explain the attributes of gold, what can we describe about gold??..Rather we can comfortably describe about a gold chain or a ring that its shape is round or thin or so and so..In an exactly similiar fashion, the three basic manifestations mentioned in the scripture are just names associated with a single GOD..So when the Vedas are trying to explain the attributes of god, they talk about Lord Vishnu or Lord Shiva in particular context just like how understanding about a gold ring is more easier than understanding about gold..

So the gist of the explanation is as simple as GOD IS ONE..So guys and girls if you belong to those who believe in Hinduism but dont understand it, I request you all go through the tremendous scriptures available or better ask someone but never say it is crap..The Hindu culture is so full of grace that it makes no attempts to humiliate other religions or to attract people towards it..What I want to say is, Hinduism is like our mother..So, first learn about it..Even if you don't, just stay calm but donot criticize it..If at all we criticize, it is as good as making our own mother a laughing stock in the public...

PS: The author of the blog is not a 60 yr old man pursuing study in scriptures and Vedas..I am just a 20 yr old guy doing a normal B-Tech degree..The blog is just a blast of passion to revolutionize the thinking among youngsters towards spirituality..So, I would be glad even if one single person understands the soul of the concept..Queries regarding the post are also welcome..:)
